Actually, I think this is likely a coincidence, since these guys protest so many businesses around town. Still, that's not what you want a customer to see when they Google map your business.

Ugh, I hate those guys, they pay a couple of lackeys to sit next to a sign protesting against a company who dares hire people who don't pay union dues.

Not sure.

Yup. In this case, any business who hires a company that uses non-union electricians or carpenters gets this special treatment.

I've only ever seen these signs before where the local plumbers union (or whatever) has their rates set so high they can't compete with the non-union guys. Instead of taking a look internally on how their rates are set they try to publicly shame the businesses into hiring them.
Hilariously they usually hire homeless people to hold the signs and pay them minimally with no benefits.

Are there union workers at dealerships in Omaha? I work in the biz a few hours north of Omaha and there are no union workers at dealerships here.

Yup, that's these guys. They're electrician/carpenters rather than plumbers, but still, same dif.

just makes unions look worse than they already are. My mothers last job was for a union shop and the union was so pigheaded on really menial things the company moved all it's operations to mexico. Oh you cant take a cost of living increase freeze during the recession? Good luck finding a job now idiots. Especially when you get paid to press a button 8 hours a day and get paid for 10 - MANDATORY

Commonly it's when the business is doing construction, if the contractor isn't a "union shop" (as in nobody is allowed to work there unless they pay the union) the union will protest.
